IDK Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the IDK application suite (“IDK,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including IDK My Money, IDK My Budget, and IDK My Groceries (collectively, the “Apps”).
By accessing or using IDK, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Apps.
1. What IDK Is (and Isn’t)
IDK is an educational financial tracking platform designed to help users—especially families, teens, and young adults—build awareness around money, budgeting, and spending habits.
IDK is not:
A bank
A payment processor
A financial advisor
Connected to real bank accounts
A substitute for professional financial advice
All data entered into IDK is user-generated and informational only.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must have a valid Google account to use IDK.
By using IDK, you represent that you are legally allowed to use the Apps.
IDK is designed for users aged 11 and up.
Parental guidance and oversight are strongly recommended for minors.
Parents or guardians are responsible for how children use the Apps and what data is entered.
3. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
The accuracy of all information you enter
How you interpret and act on that information
Keeping your Google account secure
All activity that occurs under your account
You agree not to:
Enter real banking credentials
Attempt to access other users’ data
Reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the Apps
Use IDK for illegal or fraudulent purposes
4. No Financial Advice Disclaimer
IDK provides tracking and visualization tools only.
Nothing in the Apps constitutes:
Financial advice
Investment advice
Legal advice
Tax advice
You are solely responsible for your financial decisions. If you need professional advice, consult a qualified professional.
5. Data and Privacy
IDK stores data using Firebase and Google authentication.
Your data is scoped to your account and not visible to other users.
We do not sell your personal data.
You may delete your data at any time through the Apps.

6. Availability and Changes
We may:
Modify or discontinue features
Add or remove Apps
Update these Terms from time to time
We’ll update the “Last Updated” date when changes are made. Continued use of IDK means you accept the updated Terms.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and branding associated with IDK is owned by Logic Nerds unless otherwise stated.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Apps for personal, non-commercial use.
You may not copy, distribute, or resell any part of IDK without written permission.
8. Service Provided “As Is”
IDK is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We do not guarantee that:
The Apps will be error-free
Data will always be available
The Apps will meet your specific needs
Use IDK at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Logic Nerds is not liable for financial loss, data loss, or decisions made based on IDK
We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability, if any, will not exceed the amount you paid to use IDK (which may be $0).
10. Termination
You may stop using IDK at any time.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if:
These Terms are violated
The Apps are misused
Required by law
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Logic Nerds operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

This Privacy Policy explains how IDK (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the IDK application suite, including IDK My Money, IDK My Budget, and IDK My Groceries (the “Apps”).
By using IDK, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. What Information We Collect
Information You Provide
When you use IDK, you may enter:
Account names, balances, and transactions
Budget, debt, bill, and grocery list data
Descriptions, notes, and labels you choose to add
App preferences (such as themes)
This information is user-generated and entered at your discretion.
Authentication Information
IDK uses Google Sign-In for authentication.
We receive:
Your Google user ID
Your email address
Your profile name and avatar (if available)
We do not receive your Google password.
2. What We Do Not Collect
IDK does not:
Connect to real bank accounts
Collect bank account numbers or credit card numbers
Track purchases outside the Apps
Collect precise location data
Run ads or third-party trackers inside the Apps
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information only to:
Provide and operate the Apps
Display your data back to you
Sync your data across devices
Improve app performance and reliability
Provide support if you contact us
We do not use your data for advertising or resale.
4. Data Storage and Security
Data is stored in Firebase Firestore.
All data is scoped to your authenticated user ID.
Firebase security rules prevent cross-user access.
Real-time updates occur only within your account.
While no system is perfectly secure, we use industry-standard protections appropriate for the nature of the Apps.
5. Children’s Privacy
IDK is designed for educational use and may be used by children aged 11 and up with parental guidance.
Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising use.
IDK does not knowingly collect sensitive personal information from children.
No real financial data is required or expected.
If you believe a child has entered inappropriate personal information, contact us and we will assist with removal.
6. Data Ownership and Control
You own your data.
You may:
View your data at any time in the Apps
Edit or delete individual entries
Delete all data by deleting your account or clearing app data
When data is deleted, it is removed from active systems in accordance with Firebase retention policies.
7. Data Sharing
We do not:
Sell your data
Share your data with advertisers
Allow other users to see your data
Data may only be disclosed if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users or the platform.
8. Third-Party Services
IDK relies on:
Google Authentication
Firebase (Google Cloud)
These services operate under their own privacy policies. IDK only uses them to support core functionality.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If changes are made:
The “Last Updated” date will be revised
Continued use of IDK means acceptance of the updated policy
